
How do I return an item? Returning Items to Crest Ridge Saddlery
All Crest Ridge Saddlery merchandise, except for custom saddles, clearance items or saddle pads, may within seven days of receipt be returned for a full credit or refund, excluding shipping and insurance charges. Please call (417) 644-0091 to request an Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number to return the merchandise.
For sanitary reasons, your Crest Ridge Saddle pad is non returnable for any reason. Because of the nature of the saddle pads, we have no way to completely sterilize them if they were returned. We would never want to be responsible for the spread of ringworm or other fungus borne skin diseases. Returns must arrive in the same condition that we shipped them or a reconditioning fee might be deducted from your refund. The reconditioning fee, if any, will be based and the labor and/or material needed to bring the returned items to appropriate condition for resale. Since 2001, we've only had to charge one person a reconditioning fee. We do request that you try your new saddle with-in the 7 day period and make sure that it will fit both horse and rider. You can find instructions on “Checking Saddle Fit” under the saddle fitting drop down menu above. Please use extra care to keep the saddle in mint condition, without scratches, dirt or horse hair while we are working through the process. If the saddle does not fit the horse or rider, you must call before the saddle is returned. In most cases we can work together to achieve a proper fit. It may be necessary to have you take additional pictures or measurements to identify the proper rigging and padding to achieve the proper fit. At the end of the process, you will make the final decision to keep the saddle or return it. Should you decide to return it you will need to call to request an RMA. If the goods you are returning have been altered or modified in anyway, they are not returnable. Credit for returned items will be issued within 7-10 days, after the item has been received. We need this time to inspect the saddle for damage. Your credit card company may require additional time to post credits. All returns require an authorization number. A return authorization number is required before any return can be accepted. The return number helps insure any credit is posted to the proper account. To get a return authorization number during the seven day no questions asked period, or any extension to that period granted by Crest Ridge Saddlery, please follow these instructions: Please phone (417) 644-0091 or e-mail us to obtain a return merchandise authorization code (RMA) before returning any goods. Without this code your return will not be accepted. RMA's are valid for seven days from issuance. Your RMA code request must contain the following information: Customer name Telephone number Make sure the return authorization code is clearly marked on the topside of the return carton and enclose a copy of your invoice.
