How It Works
Step 1 — Tell Us About You and Your Horse or Mule
Submit your fitting form with your name, contact information, and a brief description of your riding style, any current saddle fit problems, and your goals.
Step 2 — Take Your Measurements
Follow the step-by-step instructions on our How to Measure page to measure your horse or mule's back.
Step 3 — Send Your Photos
Submit clear photos of your horse or mule. It is very important that your horse or mule is standing square, with their head up and as straight as possible. We need the following photos:
Photo 1 — Side view showing the horse's feet and topline.
Photo 2 — Standing at the horse's head, showing the left shoulder and right hip.
Photo 3 — Standing at the horse's left hip, looking toward the right ear.
Photo 4 — A photo of your Wither Tracing with the measurements written clearly.

Step 4 — Talk With Us
Every customer speaks with Debra or Sarah personally before we move forward — we insist on it! We'll reach out to schedule a phone call to discuss your form and photos, answer your questions, and give you our professional assessment. If you'd prefer, we're also happy to connect over a Zoom video call so we can review your photos together in real time.
Step 5 — Receive Your Saddle Recommendation
After your consultation, Debra or Sarah will recommend the right saddle model, tree width, seat size, and any custom options for you and your horse or mule.
Step 6 — Place Your Order
Ready to move forward? We'll walk you through ordering your custom saddle. All of our saddles are built to your measurements and specifications — handmade by Amish craftsmen right here in Missouri.
